This fits perfectly on my Epiphone Thunderbird bass! I wish more careful attention was brought to where the strings rest on the bridge because there kind of isn't much height adjusting leeway; you end up settling for what feels like the height adjusters about to fall off due to excessive maxed out adjustings(some how they're staying on though thank goodness..... But still I will have to worry about this as long as I'm using my bass)I perform weekly at a church I attend and the sound enhancement this provides is what they would call "a blessing" ;D! The original bridge that came with my Epiphone Thunderbird bass could not even compare close to what this baby can provide. It was so much of a difference, I threw away the old no good bridge! This is such a good investment for this bass. I wish more word of mouth was out about this at guitar center because it would seem like hot cakes! I heard about this by mistake on YouTube while scrolling around. And the gold accent with some added gold volume and tune knobs make it look so much better.I feel like the price on here is definitely good and fair. I'm really happy with this product and so is everyone else who listens to me play every week when service is about to start.I replaced the stock 3-point bridge on my Epiphone Rumblekat. The Hipshot bridge makes it play and sound better, with no intonation issues or annoying harmonic resonance caused by the poor design of the 3-point bridge. The Hipshot is solid, precise, and easily adjustable for intonation, string height, and (I believe) string width. The technician who installed it on my instrument recommended a new set of strings, since the saddle break point on each string had been "molded", so to speak, by the old bridge. Overall, I highly recommend the Hipshot bridge.I've got a few minutes, so I'll walk newbies thru the installation.1)This bridge comes with 2 sets of bolts(2 metric and 2 US standard). Work them in by hand, DON'T force them or you'll strip the threads. Keep the extra set, You never know when you're going to need them for another mod.Hipshot does not include an Allen wrench for the bolts. I used a flat head screwdriver that fit in the holes and turned them by hand and it worked just fine. Go back and forth between the two bolts while tightening them.Put on the "G" string as a template to give you an idea of the approximate string height.2)Extend the legs to adjust string height by turning with the small Allen wrench(included) CLOCKWISE on the FRONT 2 tiny screws to the desired height.3)Adjust ALL four of the saddles for string height first and then and only then add the other strings.4)Once strings are added, tweak to suit your string height preference.Good Luck!Great bridge.
