The Milwaukee string trimmer I just bought I got for someone else, but I've had one for at least 5 or 6 years now, and it's still going strong. I have a lot of tough and thick grass/weeds to trim during spring and summer, and it works very well. Haven't had any problems with it. I generally use the 12 Ah batteries and get 40 to 45 minutes out of them. The trimmer is fairly lightweight, although the longer run batteries do add a bit of extra weight, but even then, it's not too heavy for me. Also, you can get other extensions, like a pole saw, that work with the basic tool Highly recommended.
