I had a very thick tree branch crash down after a storm, over a foot diameter and incredibly heavy. No way to handle it besides cutting into logs. I wasn't sure this would even be enough to cut through it, but lo and behold this thing roared thru it entirely. Still had quite a bit of charge left so I sliced up a handful of china berry trees that were spread out. For small projects like that, this was overkill but still I appreciated the full length and power when I needed it for the large tree.The trimmer worked pretty good, the only downside is that it doesn't appear to be self feeding. I had to adjust it here and there, not the worst but not as nice if you have a ton of edging to do. I couldn't manage the front and backyard without having to add some line, not a huge yard either but something I noticed.Performance? Overall about a 9. Battery life probably a 7-8. Ergonomics about a 6, not the most comfortable chainsaw I've used but a lot of these handles are very similar until you get to the more heavy duty options, where you might be wielding it for literally hours. Overall value, probably also a 7-8. The batteries are usable with other 24/48v greenworks items, so this fits well with the lawnmower I already had.
