It is too heavy and sometimes locking the two shaft together is hard and needs practice.Don't expect much from a new company with growing pains that can include this in product description: "High safety valve throttle protection switch is against accidental starts and ensure user safety." You have been warned, as was I.1: User manual does not match the model I received. That's OK, it's close enough. My engine is a size larger.2: Where the telescoping tubes go together, there is supposed to be an anti-twist feature, but it's NOT EFFECTIVE. If the blade gets stuck suddenly in a log, inertia from the engine can twist the tubes. I can put a screw in there to fix it. But before I put a screw in there I had a blade get stuck and the tubes twisted and the blade was bent.3: Mine came with a 10 inch saw blade. That's too big. I prefer an 8 inch blade.4: I wanted to get a 4-stroke (not 2-stroke) because I have a Honda 4-stroke rototiller that is so easy to pull the starter rope. This is not that easy because it's bigger so it's OK. And, it does idle very smoothly.5: I'm worried about the loose fit between the bevel gears in the cutter head. And the roaring noise from those gears. There is no grease fitting there. I might return it.I like the different attachment but this product is heavy. Not comfortable after 5 minutesWe run a lawn care business. And we have been treating our different products. This, by far, surpassed our expectations. Super easy to use, handles like a dream, takes pressure off other areas of the body that are under strain normally with a regular trimmer, and best of all super easy assembly.This HUYOSEN 38.9cc Grass Cutter Trimmer Gasoline back-pack (made in China) is not what I expected and very cheaply made...I get what I paid for. First off, no logical instructions for assembly, just had to go by the picture layout. Once it was assembled, the throttle cable kept slipping out of the handle structure, which caused the engine and blade to rev out of control after I did start it, which means I had to quickly hit the "kill" switch (very dangerous). Remember this unit needs to be started on the ground...then flung up to your back with straps. In the end after looking at the problem and fussing with it, I could not logically fix this problem without re-engineering it somehow. In addition, the fuel tank leaked when tried moving it around to use the backpack portion of the unit...positioning it and then attempting to strap it on to my back and tying it down. That is when the leak was noticed, also could be dangerous. There are no INSTRUCTIONS/pictures and possibly parts to fit the "add-on" cultivator or weed eater, so I am not even going to try and do this. The engine did run nice a fairly quiet for the (very) short time that I tried to use this trimmer. I am mostly frustrated and unimpressed by this trimmer functionality. Contacted the "seller" about returning and after a short conversation found it was on my dime...so I am losing money as well (its a big box). In short I don't recommend this product but you might have a different experience or possibly a better unit if they improve the handle/throttle assembly. Beware this is a big package to return, if it doesn't work out. In the end I had to contact Amazon to finally resolve this issue.It is a bit hard to balance. Starts easy. Plastic choke lever broke off. It does cut down the heavy brush quite well.Must have mechanical knowledge to operate, manual not much helpThis was very easy to assemble even though the instructions included were not for this model. It's heavy and the strap is really poorly designed. It broke within two uses. Also, the gas cap is worthless. Anytime the unit is anything but level gas pours out....BUT, it's easy to start, has plenty of power and has really helped me clear the property.I would recommend this if you can get past the strap and gas cap.
