Very rough fret edges. The general structure of the instrument looks good, but lacks a bit in the final touches. The finisher at the factory must be sleeping.Rough binding around body and fretboard.Glue coming out from between the binding and fretboard.Kind of a mess actually.I cleaned it all up, no problem.Looks great now!I filed the frets.I lightly sanded the binding edges.Nylon strings. Meh.Good tuning machines.Nice looking.Gig bag us average, not much padding.A smidge smaller than your typical soprano which is rather unique, but not as small as a sopranino. The problems didn't bother me much, but it was a little more labor intensive than your typical ukulele these days.I sell ukuleles and I do this stuff myself, so to me, it wasn't too much trouble cleaning it up.It cleaned up really nice and I'm very pleased with the outcome. It got a bit of a break on the price so to me it was well worth it as I intend to resell it. I'm sure my buyer will be very pleased with the outcome!Would I buy another?Definitely, if I could get it at the previous deal.
