Using premium woods and top‑tier electronics, Indio DLX Plus guitars deliver both unrivaled value and performance. Professionally setup in the United States by our Master Luthier to play flawlessly out of the box, DLX Plus guitars will sound and feel like instruments costing several times the price. DLX Plus guitars pack the best possible specs and materials, and are built to meet the demands of both professional and casual players alike.
Mahogany Body with Maple Top: Unlike other guitars using inexpensive woods, Indio 66 DLX Plus guitars feature the same mahogany bodies and maple tops used in premium guitars costing several times their price. Mahogany is considered to be one of the, if not the best tonewood for electric guitars. Its tonal properties make mahogany perfect for electric guitars, delivering sustain and legendary growl. Mahogany has been used in some of the most iconic electric guitars of all time and can be found in modern high end instruments today.
Professionally Set Up In California by Our Master Luthier: In addition to better materials and specs, what really separates Indio DLX Plus guitars from others is the exceptional playability out of the box. Every Indio DLX Plus guitar is domestically QC'd and setup by our Master Luthier in Southern California. This ensures perfect playability out of the box, providing a playing experience that is superior to any guitar costing several times the price.
Soap Bar Pickups: Soap bar pickups are sought after and revered, and come standard in all Indio 66SB DLX Plus guitars. Thicker and darker than single coils, soap bars sit somewhere in the middle, producing the midrange growl and the twangy highs that the humbuckers lack. In other words, Indio 66SB DLX Plus guitar pickups deliver the perfect balance of tonal characters and the best of both worlds.
Classic, High End Styling: Besides practical reasons like tone and playability, Indio DLX Plus guitars are attractive for their high end looks and finishes. Indio DLX Plus guitars deliver classic body styling with high end touches only found in instruments costing several times more. Featuring a bound body and neck, trapezoid inlays on the rosewood fingerboard, and high output humbuckers, Indio DLX Plus guitars deliver equally in both tone and looks.

Amazon another home run this one is very very nice came out of the box practically in tune, keep in mind it is not perfect this is a $260 guitar for that price I don't think it can be beat pickups bridge and neck sound very good classic p90 sound tuners are nice I still have to break them in probably will change the strings to some Slinky teens very satisfied and I was lucky enough to get it on a flex pay which really makes it a great deal for me being that I am on a budget will update after about 4 to 6 months have a wonderful day. Second week had to remove one star went to do basic guitar setup changed to 10 gauge strings and oil fretboard while doing this putting the g-string on the guitar tuner will not operate, contacting Amazon as we speak still is a wonderful guitar and plays very well tuners definitely need to be upgraded, pick up sound good electronics have no noise fretboard is in pretty good condition I have a slight buzz on the eighth fret.I really was hoping I could love this guitar as I have had good experience with Monoprice goods in the past, unfortunately there are a few flaws.First the finish is uneven above the neck pickup, something I would pass on leaving a detailed review for by itself.Second, the guitar required a setup, specifically truss rod and bridge adjustments so "Professionally setup in the United States by our Master Luthier to play flawlessly out of the box" is quite the stretch as all but one of the strings were buzzing when tuned and the one that didn't was completely muted. Beginners looking for an out of the box playing experience should look elsewhere, or budget a professional setup in their estimation of the actual cost of this item, or be prepared to learn how to do a setup on their own (which is not really all that hard). If you're giving this as a gift I suggest you get the instrument inspected by someone who knows electric guitars before you wrap it.Finally, on top of that the electronics are going to need an inspection because in the "Treble" position the bridge pickup cuts in and out. Fixing this will likely require some light soldering and component replacement. The finish I won't attempt to fix, but the setup I was able to do myself, and likely the electronics are within my skill set as I've done repairs like this before. That said, you shouldn't have to fix an item right out of the box.Other than that the pickups are nice and twangy, when they work. The tuners are smooth, the gold finish is pretty if you don't notice the defect near the neck pickup, and I can't find any joins in the body so either the manufacturer matched their glue ups extremely well or they used a single slab of wood.I think I will come to like this guitar after working on it, but I have to give it a poor star rating for poor quality control and obviously misleading customers about doing a professional setup. The only reason I didn't give this item one star is that it has been a joy to play in the "Rhythm" position and the body itself seems solidly and exactingly built.Solid setup by the manufacturer. No fret buzz. 1st and 3rd pickup selection creates more 60 cycle hum than other P90's I own. Worth the price. The guitar had fretwork that was probably done by a machine - it's better than a human can do. The body was multiple pieces of wood with a veneer covering the back. The top appeared to be a slab of wood. I can't say what kind of woods that are being used. The strings were binding on the nut but were okay when replaced with a thinner 9/42 gauge set. The finish was attractive and well done. It's a new, inexpensive, guitar from China that ups the game for guitars in this price range. It's quite a deal if you're looking for a guitar with P-90 pickups.
