LR Baggs Passive Bridge Plate Transducer with Strapjack for Steel String Acoustic Guitars - Perfect for Live Performances & Studio Recording

The I-Beam transducer came with the input jack as expected, but the mounting/locating installation fixture required to properly locate the transducer on the bridgeplate beneath the saddle inside the guitar was not included.Fortunately, I still have the fixture that was included with the passive I-Beam I installed on another guitar some years ago. I was impressed with the performance of that passive I-Beam run through an external preamp so I purchased this unit for another guitar. The unit arrived in a L R Baggs box inside the shipping packaging and may not be the seller's fault, but a disappointing circumstance, nonetheless. Had I not had my own installation fixture, I would have been hard pressed to do a proper installation. I found it interesting that even though the L R Baggs website lists the I-Beam active system there is no mention of the passive unit. I knew they had offered it because I have one, so I eventually found it on Amazon and ordered it. Good luck getting one with the much needed installation fixture included.
