I desperately needed a replacement string for my crossbow when the original replacement I ordered had not arrived and the old one broke. I ordered this one because it was reasonable priced and I figured it would do temporarily. The length appears to be correct but if you are going to make a crossbow string for a recurve crossbow it would probably be beneficial to make the nocks large enough to fit over the end of the limb. I'm not sure how much money they saved in string by making the nocks so small but I can tell you honestly, as a long time traditional archery hunter, this string probably would not fit over the tips of longbow, much less a crossbow. In my case, and out of desperation, I managed to get it to work by stretching the nock loops with a pair of needle-nosed pliars, but in doing so broke some of the serving thread around the nock loops. I've tied these back on and glued them but time will only tell how long it lasts. On the bright side, my replacement string from the manufacturer is due today. Don't waste your money or your patience. Buy something else.
