I am a long time bass player but needed something more compact and portable for both couch playing acoustically and possibly amplified with a ukulele band. I am pleasantly surprised at how good this UBASS sounds and plays. It's a pleasure to play, but will definitely take a bit of getting used to by going from a 34" scale length to a 21" and playing on silicone strings instead of steel. It's always great when a product exceeds your expectations.
